NASA astronaut Anne McClain has been honored with two prestigious awards for her exceptional contributions to space exploration, research, and education. McClain received the NASA Exceptional Achievement Medal and the NASA Space Flight Medal in recognition of her accomplishments during her recent mission to the International Space Station (ISS).
McClain served as a Flight Engineer on Expedition 58/59, spending 204 days in space. During her mission, she conducted a variety of scientific experiments, performed maintenance on the ISS, and participated in several spacewalks.
