British Mum Left 'Terrified' in Turkey Hotel After Claiming 'Intruder' Entered at Night

Mum-of-two says she was left 'terrified' after she claims an 'intruder' entered her hotel room while she was on holiday in Turkey.

Kelly Clarke, 38, from Leeds, was staying at the five-star Kirman Arycanda De Luxe Hotel in Antalya when she says a man entered her room at around 3am on August 11.

She said she was asleep in bed when she heard a noise and saw a man standing in the doorway.

"I was absolutely terrified," she said. "I didn't know what to do. I just started screaming and he ran off.”

Clarke said she reported the incident to the hotel staff, but they were not very helpful.

"They didn't seem to take me seriously at all," she said. "They just said that they would investigate, but I never heard anything back from them."

Clarke said she is now too scared to stay in the hotel and has booked a flight home.

"I just want to get out of here as soon as possible," she said. "I don't feel safe here anymore."

A spokesperson for the Kirman Arycanda De Luxe Hotel said they are investigating the incident.

"We are aware of the allegations made by Ms. Clarke and we are taking them very seriously," the spokesperson said.

"We are currently investigating the incident and we will take appropriate action if necessary."
