Chesterfield County, VA - A driver has died after their pickup truck struck a tree in Chesterfield County on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. The victim has been identified as 35-year-old John Smith from Richmond, Virginia.

Details of the Accident

According to Chesterfield County Police, the accident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Iron Bridge Road near Genito Road. The pickup truck was travelling westbound when it veered off the road and struck a tree. The impact of the crash caused the truck to catch fire.
