Little Rock, Ark. (February 23, 2023) - Governor Asa Hutchinson and the Arkansas Department of Agriculture honored 41 Arkansas farms with induction into the Arkansas Century Farm program during a ceremony at the Arkansas State Capitol.
The Century Farm program recognizes farms that have been in continuous operation by the same family for at least 100 years. This year's inductees represent 33 counties across the state and range in size from 10 to 1,000 acres.
“Arkansas agriculture is a cornerstone of our state's economy and culture, and these Century Farms are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and resilience of our farmers,” said Governor Hutchinson. “We are proud to honor these families for their commitment to agriculture and their contributions to our state.”
- The Century Farm program was established in 1994 to recognize and preserve the rich agricultural heritage of Arkansas.
- To be eligible for the program, a farm must have been owned and operated by the same family for at least 100 years.
- The program is open to all types of farms, including row crops, livestock, and timber.
This year's inductees include the:
- Anderson Family Farm (Greene County)
- Baker Family Farm (Phillips County)
- Barber Family Farm (Randolph County)
- Bell Family Farm (Stone County)
- Black Family Farm (Miller County)

In addition to the induction ceremony, the Arkansas Century Farm program also provides:
