Holcim & Neustark Partner on Construction Carbon Capture
Partnership will see ICON using Neustark’s carbon capture solution on construction projects
Holcim (HCMLY) and Neustark have announced a partnership to use Neustark’s carbon capture and utilization (CCU) solution on construction projects.
The partnership will see ICON, a construction technology company in which Holcim holds a majority stake, using Neustark’s CCU solution on its construction projects.
Neustark’s CCU solution captures carbon dioxide (CO2) from the air and converts it into a solid mineral called calcium carbonate. This calcium carbonate can then be used as a construction material, such as in concrete.
The partnership is expected to help Holcim and ICON reduce their carbon footprint
The partnership is expected to help Holcim and ICON reduce their carbon footprint. The construction industry is responsible for a significant amount of greenhouse gas emissions, and the use of Neustark’s CCU solution could help to reduce these emissions.
In addition to reducing their carbon footprint, the partnership could also help Holcim and ICON to develop new and innovative construction materials.
The use of Neustark’s CCU solution could lead to the development of new types of concrete and other construction materials that are more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
Neustark’s CCU solution has the potential to revolutionize the construction industry
Neustark’s CCU solution has the potential to revolutionize the construction industry. By providing a way to capture and utilize CO2, Neustark’s solution could help to reduce the industry’s carbon footprint and promote the development of more sustainable construction materials.
The partnership between Holcim and Neustark is a significant step towards making the construction industry more sustainable.
