Michigan State is coming off a 23-13 season in which they lost to UCLA in the NCAA Tournament. The Spartans are led by senior guard Tyson Walker, who averaged 12.5 points and 5.6 assists last season. Junior forward Joey Hauser is also a key player for Michigan State, averaging 11.8 points and 6.9 rebounds last year.
This will be the first meeting between Kansas and Michigan State since 2018, when the Spartans won 63-61.
