John Krasinski has been named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for 2022.

The actor, best known for his role as Jim Halpert on "The Office," was revealed as the winner during the magazine's annual television special on Tuesday night.

Krasinski's wife, Emily Blunt, reacted to the news on Instagram, writing, "I have no choice but to agree with People magazine. My husband is, in fact, the sexiest man alive.

"He's also the kindest, funniest, and most supportive man I know," she added.

Krasinski, 43, told People that he was "completely surprised" by the honor.

"I'm not sure I'm worthy of this, but I'm very grateful," he said.

The actor said he hopes his win will inspire others to embrace their own unique beauty.

"I think it's important for people to realize that beauty is subjective," he said.

"There's no one right way to look. We should all be celebrating our own unique qualities."
