Fox News contributor Kayleigh McEnany has praised the appointment of Pete Hegseth as the new host of 'Fox & Friends Weekend'.
McEnany, who served as White House press secretary under former President Donald Trump, said Hegseth is the "guy for the job".
"Pete is a great choice to host 'Fox & Friends Weekend'," McEnany said. "He's a smart, articulate, and experienced journalist who knows how to connect with viewers."

Hegseth is a former Army Ranger and author who has been a Fox News contributor since 2014.
He is a regular guest host on 'Fox & Friends' and has also hosted his own show on Fox Nation, 'Pete Hegseth's America'.
Hegseth is known for his conservative views and his strong support for Trump.
McEnany says Hegseth is a 'uniter'
McEnany said Hegseth is a "uniter" who will bring people together.
"Pete is someone who can bring people together from all walks of life," McEnany said. "He's a uniter, and that's what we need in this country right now."
Hegseth will take over as host of 'Fox & Friends Weekend' on July 16.
