Kentucky's Top Recruit Coming To Visit This Weekend

Lexington, KY -

Scott County High School star Deone Walker will be making his official visit to the University of Kentucky this weekend. Walker is considered to be one of the top football recruits in the country.

The 6-foot-5, 280-pound offensive tackle is ranked as the No. 12 overall recruit in the 2023 class by 247Sports. He is also considered to be the No. 1 offensive tackle in the class.

Walker has been committed to Kentucky since June. He chose the Wildcats over offers from Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State.

Walker is expected to play a big role for Kentucky next season. He is expected to start at right tackle and help protect quarterback Will Levis.

Walker is the latest in a long line of highly-touted recruits to commit to Kentucky. The Wildcats have signed top-10 recruiting classes in each of the last two years.

Kentucky is hoping that Walker can help them take the next step and compete for a national championship.

Walker's Visit

Walker will arrive in Lexington on Friday. He will spend the weekend meeting with the coaching staff and touring the campus.

Walker is expected to attend Kentucky's game against Mississippi State on Saturday. The game will be played at Kroger Field.

Kentucky is hoping to impress Walker during his visit. The Wildcats are looking to add him to a recruiting class that is already considered to be one of the best in the country.
