Lakers' Jaxson Hayes: See You Sunday
Yes, You Heard It Right!
It's confirmed that Jaxson Hayes will play for the Lakers against the Sacramento Kings on Sunday.
The New Orleans Pelicans traded Hayes to the Lakers on Thursday in a three-team deal that also included the Charlotte Hornets.
Hayes, a 21-year-old center, has averaged 7.2 points and 4.4 rebounds in 10.5 minutes per game this season.
A Little History
He was drafted eighth overall by the Atlanta Hawks in the 2019 NBA draft and was traded to the Pelicans on draft night.
Hayes has shown flashes of potential, but he has also been inconsistent and has struggled with injuries.
The Lakers are hoping that Hayes can provide them with some much-needed depth in the frontcourt.
