Mum's terror after 'intruder' walked into Turkey hotel room
Mother claims a stranger entered her room and stood over her sleeping son
A British mother has told of her terror after claiming an "intruder" walked into her hotel room in Turkey and stood over her sleeping son.
The woman, who has not been named, said she was sleeping in the room with her two young children when she was woken by a noise.
She said she looked up and saw a man standing in the doorway of the room.
'He just stood there staring'
"I was terrified," she said. "I didn't know what to do."
She said the man just stood there staring at her son for a few seconds before walking away.
The woman said she immediately got out of bed and checked on her son, who was unharmed.
Hotel denies claims
She said she then reported the incident to the hotel staff, but they denied that anyone had entered the room.
The hotel has since issued a statement saying that they are investigating the incident.
The woman said she is now too scared to stay in the hotel and has booked a flight home.
