Nikola Jovic Injury: Won't return Tuesday
Denver Nuggets forward Nikola Jovic will not return Tuesday against the Los Angeles Clippers due to a right hamstring injury.
Jovic suffered the injury in the first quarter of Denver's 122-115 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday. He underwent an MRI on Monday, which revealed a Grade 1 hamstring strain.
The Nuggets announced that Jovic will be re-evaluated in one week.
Jovic has been a key contributor for the Nuggets this season, averaging 12.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.
He has started 20 of Denver's 27 games this season.
The Nuggets are 13-14 this season and are currently in ninth place in the Western Conference.
They will face the Clippers on Tuesday at Ball Arena.
