Presentation of trophies to FK Austria Wien

On Friday evening, FK Austria Wien was presented with the Austrian Bundesliga trophies for winning the championship and being voted Club of the Year at the game against SKN St. Pölten.

Ballon d'Or for Manprit Sarkaria

In addition, Manprit Sarkaria was also presented with the Ballon d'Or, the official award for Austria's Footballer of the Year 2022. The 25-year-old prevailed in the election ahead of his team-mate Dominik Fitz and Salzburg's Nicolas Capaldo.

FK Austria Wien won their 24th Austrian league title in May, five rounds before the end of the season. It was their fourth title in the last five years. Manprit Sarkaria was a key player in the title win, scoring 14 goals and providing 12 assists in 32 league games.
