Rockstar Jack White surprised Austin with a show announcement just days away. The show is set for Friday, July 1 at the Moody Amphitheater and will be his first in Austin since 2018.

Tickets for the show go on sale to the public Tuesday, June 28 at 10 a.m. They can be purchased through Live Nation’s website.

White is a singer, songwriter, and producer who rose to fame as the lead singer and guitarist of the White Stripes. He has since released several solo albums and collaborated with a variety of artists, including Loretta Lynn, Bob Dylan, and Beck.

White’s upcoming album, Taking Me Back, is set to be released on July 22.
