Sindhu, a two-time Olympic medallist, and Lakshya, the reigning Commonwealth Games champion, have been in indifferent form in recent times and will use the break to work on their game.
Sindhu, who won the Singapore Open in July, crashed out of the first round of the Japan Open and was knocked out in the quarterfinals of the Denmark Open.
