Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. to Acquire LoveShackFancy
Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire LoveShackFancy, a leading global lifestyle brand known for its bohemian and feminine aesthetic, for $310 million.
The acquisition is expected to close in the third quarter of 2023, subject to customary closing conditions.
LoveShackFancy was founded in 2003 by Rebecca Hessel Cohen and is headquartered in New York City. The brand offers a wide range of products, including women's apparel, accessories, home goods, and beauty products.
Stanley Black & Decker is a world leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of power tools, hand tools, and related accessories. The company has a portfolio of iconic brands, including Stanley, Black & Decker, DeWalt, and Craftsman.
