Syracuse beats Colgate 109-61 in final non-conference home game

Syracuse Orange men's basketball defeated the Colgate Raiders men's basketball team 109-61 on Saturday night at the JMA Wireless Dome.

The Orange improved to 10-3 on the season with the win, while the Raiders fell to 6-6.

Syracuse was led by Judah Mintz, who scored a game-high 19 points. Joe Girard III added 16 points and nine assists, while Jesse Edwards scored 15 points and grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds.

Colgate was led by Ryan Moffatt, who scored 15 points. Tucker Richardson added 12 points and Keegan Records scored 10 points.

Syracuse shot 53.1% from the field, including 44.4% from three-point range. Colgate shot 37.7% from the field, including 28.6% from three-point range.

The Orange outrebounded the Raiders 44-32 and had 19 assists to Colgate's 12.

Syracuse will return to action on Wednesday, December 21, when they host the Monmouth Hawks at the JMA Wireless Dome.

Colgate will return to action on Tuesday, December 20, when they host the Cornell Big Red.
