The 2023 Sexiest Man Alive has yet to be announced, but there's already a lot of buzz about who might take home the title. Will it be Chris Hemsworth? Michael B. Jordan? or someone else entirely?

Whoever wins, they'll have some big shoes to fill. Past winners of the award include some of the most iconic men in the world, including Dwayne Johnson, Chris Evans, and Idris Elba.

So what's it like to be the Sexiest Man Alive? We asked some of the past winners for their advice to the future titleholder.

Dwayne Johnson

"Just be yourself," Johnson said. "Don't try to be someone you're not. People can see through that."

Johnson also advised the future winner to "embrace the moment."

"This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience," he said. "Soak it up and enjoy it."

Chris Evans

"Don't take yourself too seriously," Evans said. "This is a fun title, so have some fun with it."

Evans also advised the future winner to "be kind to yourself and others."

"The world can be a tough place," he said. "So it's important to be kind to yourself and to those around you."

Idris Elba

"Be confident in who you are," Elba said. "Don't let anyone tell you that you're not good enough."

Elba also advised the future winner to "never give up on your dreams."

"No matter what obstacles you face, never give up on yourself," he said.

"Anything is possible if you set your mind to it."
