Duke Set for Season Opener Against Kentucky in Champions Classic

No. 7 Duke will take on No. 4 Kentucky in the Champions Classic on Tuesday, November 15th, at 9:30 PM EST. The game will be played at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

This will be the first meeting between the two schools since the 2019-20 season, when Duke won 74-63 in the Champions Classic. Kentucky leads the all-time series 22-16.

Both Teams Feature Top Recruits and Experienced Players

Duke will be led by freshman phenom Dariq Whitehead, who is considered one of the best recruits in the country. He will be joined by fellow freshmen Kyle Filipowski and Dereck Lively II, as well as sophomores Jeremy Roach and Mark Mitchell.

Kentucky will be led by sophomore Oscar Tshiebwe, who was named the National Player of the Year last season. He will be joined by fellow sophomores Sahvir Wheeler and TyTy Washington, as well as freshmen Cason Wallace and Chris Livingston.

Game Expected to Be Close and Competitive

This game is expected to be close and competitive, as both teams are ranked in the top 10 and feature some of the best players in the country.

Duke will be looking to avenge last season's loss to Kentucky, while Kentucky will be looking to start the season with a big win.

The game will be televised on ESPN.
