Michigan State Women's Hoops Blow Out Eastern Michigan

Lady Spartans Win Third Consecutive Game

Michigan State women's basketball defeated Eastern Michigan University 103-58 on Thursday, Nov. 17 at the Breslin Center.

The win brings the Lady Spartans to 3-0 on the season.

Seven players scored in double figures for the Spartans, led by senior guard Nia Clouden's 16 points.

Senior forward Deja Church had 15 points and nine rebounds, while junior forward Matilda Ekh had 14 points and seven rebounds.

Sophomore forward Chloe Bibby added 13 points and six rebounds, and freshman guard Moira Joiner had 12 points.

The Lady Spartans shot 53.3% from the field and 38.9% from three-point range.

Eastern Michigan was led by senior guard Lachelle Austin's 15 points.

The Eagles shot 37.5% from the field and 25% from three-point range.

The Lady Spartans return to action on Sunday, Nov. 20, when they host Oakland University at the Breslin Center.
