My Chemical Romance Announce ‘Long Live The Black Parade’ US Tour
The band will perform their iconic album in its entirety
My Chemical Romance have announced a special US tour to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their iconic album, ‘The Black Parade’.
The tour will kick off on October 11th in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and will wrap up on November 11th in Los Angeles, California. The band will be performing the album in its entirety at each show, as well as a selection of other fan favorites.
Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday, May 12th at 10am local time. A limited number of VIP packages will also be available, which include early entry to the venue, a meet-and-greet with the band, and a commemorative tour poster.
My Chemical Romance’s ‘The Black Parade’ was released in 2006 and was a commercial and critical success. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and has since sold over three million copies worldwide.
The album’s lead single, “Welcome to the Black Parade”, was a top ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has become one of the band’s signature songs.
My Chemical Romance broke up in 2013, but they reunited in 2019. The band has since toured extensively and released a new song, “The Foundations of Decay”, in 2022.
