Team news: van Domselaar returns
Arsenal goalkeeper set for comeback after long-term injury
Arsenal goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar is set to make her return to action after a long-term injury. The Dutch international has been out of action since suffering a knee injury in training in October.
Van Domselaar has been a key player for Arsenal since joining the club in 2020. She has made 20 appearances for the Gunners, keeping 10 clean sheets.
‘Great to be back’ – van Domselaar
"It's great to be back," said van Domselaar. "I've been working hard in rehab and I'm feeling really strong now.
"I can't wait to get back out there and help the team." Van Domselaar's return is a major boost for Arsenal. The Gunners are currently third in the Women's Super League, two points behind leaders Chelsea.
Van Domselaar is expected to make her comeback in Arsenal's next match, which is against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.
