John Krasinski Is PEOPLE's 2024 Sexiest Man Alive: 'I Think It's Going to Make Me Do More Household Chores,' He Jokes

John Krasinski has been named PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive for 2024.

The actor, who is best known for his roles in "The Office" and "A Quiet Place," received the honor on Tuesday's episode of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert."

Krasinski, 44, is the fifth person to receive the title twice, after Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Matt Damon, and Johnny Depp.

Krasinski joked that he thinks the title will make him do more household chores.

"I think it's going to make me do more household chores," he said. "I'm going to be like, 'I'm the Sexiest Man Alive, I should clean the kitchen.'"

Krasinski is married to Emily Blunt, and they have two daughters.

Krasinski said he was "so flattered" to be named Sexiest Man Alive.

"I'm so flattered," he said. "I'm going to try to live up to it. I'm going to start working out more. I'm going to start eating healthier. I'm going to start doing all the things that I should have been doing all along."

Krasinski is currently starring in the third season of "Jack Ryan."

He is also set to star in the upcoming film "Imaginary Friends," which is directed by John Krasinski.
