TJ Bamba is a Dog and Ducks are Headed to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament

The Ducks will face the North Carolina Tar Heels in the second round on Sunday
TJ Bamba declared himself a "dog" after the Oregon Ducks' 86-55 win over Montana in the NCAA Tournament on Thursday night.
The sophomore forward scored 20 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and dished out 3 assists in the victory.
Bamba's performance was one of the best of his young career, and his teammates were quick to praise him after the game.
"He's a dog," said Oregon guard Will Richardson. "He's a tough, physical player who can score inside and out."
Forward Quincy Guerrier added: "TJ is a big part of our team. He brings energy and toughness, and he can make plays for himself and others."
Bamba's performance was even more impressive considering that he was playing with a sore ankle.
He suffered the injury in the Ducks' win over UCLA in the Pac-12 Tournament, but it didn't seem to slow him down against Montana.
Bamba said that he's just trying to do whatever he can to help his team win.
"I'm just trying to play hard and do my job," Bamba said. "I'm a dog, and I'm going to go out there and compete."
The Ducks will need Bamba to continue to play at a high level if they want to make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament.
They'll face a tough test in the second round against the North Carolina Tar Heels, who are a No. 8 seed but have a lot of talent and experience.
If Bamba can continue to play like a "dog," the Ducks will have a good chance of advancing to the Sweet 16.
